When it comes to man's best friend, there can be a lot of problems with making them worthy of that title.  Whether it's house breaking, stopping bad habits, or teaching new tricks, the fact is that it's not an easy task to get a dog to understand what it is that you want it to accomplish.  There are a lot of different methods that are proven to work.  There are quite a few sites out there right now that are based around trying to help us learn how to effectively and easily train our dogs.  This site is my attempt at reviewing some of these sites so that you don't waste any time or money at the wrong sites.

I've gone through and nitpicked 4 different sites that I thought seemed pretty relevant to what we're going for here today.  We're looking for a site that has great information, a money back guarantee, ongoing support, easy to use information, and most of all, a price that fits the product.

I'm going to go through these sites one by one, then do a direct comparrison between them all at the end.  Here are the sites I've reviewed.

1. Kingdom of Pets
2. Dog Training Online
3. Dog Potty Training
4. Instant Dog Training Videos
If you're interested in free, ongoing, consistent pet news, providing your name and email will net you that and much more, including a full guide on crate training your puppy.  Any other freebies I find will be yours!

The first site I want to go over is the all too popular www.KingdomOfPets.com.  First, it has popularity on it's side.  This is normally the go-to product for most people.  Instead of just recommending this product based on popularity, though, I want to give an honest review of it.

-First, their main offer is a 206 page eBook.  That's a huge book...  I imagine it really holds a ton of information.  The problem with that, though, is that it's just an eBook.  A lot of things you need to convey to your dog is based more on tone than on words.  Audio and video seem like they would be a better choice when it comes to teaching your dog.  Regardless, though, 206 pages is a respectable volume and if you like reading, this should be great for you.

-One thing that I really like about them is their ongoing support.  After you've signed up with them, you have access to their entire pet community and their experts.  Any questions you have will be answered.

-The power in most of the sites I reviewed are in the bonuses.  This site is offering an audio book on "The Secrets to Dog Training" along with eBooks on Becoming the Alpha Dog, Security Dog Training, Dog Grooming, a Quick Guide to Dog Aggression, and the House Training Methods book.  This ends up being a total of 1 audio book and 5 eBooks.

-As for guarantees, they have a 100%, 60 day, no questions asked, money back guarantee.  This is completely risk free.  Money back guarantees are important to me, not because I want to make sure I can return a bad product, but because this means that people who have purchased it haven't had a need to get their refund.  A money back guarantee means that the product has been deemed worth every penny by previous customers.

-And as for the price, we have a pricetag of 39.95.  It's one of the most expensive products in our line-up today, but judging by it's refund policy and popularity, it seems to be worth every penny.

The next site I reviewed was Instant Dog Training Videos.  This site isn't quite as popular as Kingdom of Pets, but I can't quite figure out why.  I would have to guess it would be their marketing.  Anyways, enough on my opinions, let's get on to the facts.

-As their site name implies, they give videos rather than an eBook.  To boot, they have more than just one video to cover everything... They give you 10 videos on different subjects!  The videos they have include:
1. Chewing
2. Biting
3. Digging
4. Running Away
5. Timid/Nervous
6. Pulling on the Leash
7. Jumping
8. Excessive Barking
9. Not Coming When Called
10. Housebreaking

-This site also has a money back guarantee!  It's an 8 week, 100% refund, no questions asked guarantee.  Again, if they have this policy and continue to uphold it, that would imply that people very infrequently, if ever, have regrets about trying this product.

-As I look through this site more, however, I'm starting to see why perhaps the Kingdom of Pets is having more success.  Instant Dog Training Videos has no mention whatsoever of ongoing support.  This is an important feature in my opinion.  I also mentioned in the last review that it's the bonuses that set most sites apart from eachother...  This site is set apart in that it has no bonus material.

-At the price of $47, this is the most expensive of the sites I'm reviewing today.  The fact that it has videos rather than books is wonderful and probably makes it worth the price, but the lack of any bonus materials and customer support kind of turns me off.  If you're looking for nothing but the product and don't care at all about having personalized support, this could be the site for you.

The third site I reviewed was Dog Training Online.  Now, I must say this site looks very credible.  The site's creator is Dove Cresswell, who trains movie dogs.  This site isn't another eBook site, either...  It has videos!

-There are 7 videos in all going over the following:
1.Potty Training
2.Crate Training
3.Obedience (Commands like Sit, Down, Stay, and Wait)
4.Leash Training
5.In depth Recall training
6.Good manners (Barking, Leaving food alone, Staying off certain items of furniture)
7.Special Tricks (Shake, Wave, Roll over, Speak)

-Uh oh...  While I really like this site, it seems to be lacking a money back guarantee.  I really value this and what it's presence means.

-Fortunately, though, there is a ridiculous amount of bonuses. 7 of them!  These are all videos by Dove.
1.Teach Your Dog To Fetch
2.Train Your Dog to Play Soccer
3.Teach Your Dog to Play Hide 'n' Seek
4.Information On Dog Sports
5.Choosing the Right Toys For Your Dog
6.Earning Your Dog's Respect
7.Choose the Right Dog Food & Treats

-I also like that there is ongoing support at this site.  You have access to Dove and she will answer any questions you may have.  (This is listed as the first bonus, if you notice they say they have 8 bonuses while I only listed 7)  Ongoing support is something that really makes the absence of a money back guarantee seem not too bad.  If you have the ability to talk to the owner at will, then it's technically possible to make up for anything that would make you want your refund.

-The price on this video set & bonuses is $38.97.  It's slightly cheaper than Kingdom of Pets.  While the lack of a guarantee scares me a little, I really like the rest of the stuff they offer.  If you're into videos and think that with their support there's no way you'd even need the guarantee, then there's no question that this is the site for you.

The fourth site I'm reviewing is kind of out on a limb.  It's not on all of dog training, but focuses just on house breaking...  The site is appropriately named Dog Potty Training.  The creator's name is Sharda Baker.  She claims that you can have your dog or puppy completely potty trained in under 7 days.

-First, I want to say that it's unclear what you get in your purchase.  They website says "guide" from what I can find, but one of her testimonials says eBooks and audios.  I'm going to go with the testimonial and say it's both books and audios.  It does however list what you will find in there.
1.Multiple methods of housebreaking
2.Best time to start training your dog
3.Best equipment to use
4.How to effectively clean soiled areas
5.How to handle older dogs
6.Uncover common potty training problems and how to solve them
7.Tips for quickly and easily potty training a puppy
8.How to make the most of potty pads
9.Discover training tips for dogs in apartments and extreme outside weather conditions
10.Learn how to use crate training to help the process
11.How to train a poorly trained or rescued dog
12.How to stop marking
13.Litter box training
14.Effective paper training
15.What to do about messes that are made in your absense

-Even though she claims that your dog should be trained in 7 days, there is a 60 day, no questions asked refund guarantee.  So assuming you're getting your dog soon, but not quite yet, this guide could be something to look into immediately.

-I can't find anything on support, but there are testimonials, so I'm assuming it's definitely possible to get ahold of her, and you may get a response.

-There are a couple of bonuses here, as well.  The first you get is a Vet Health Tips Interview with a veterinarian.  Your second bonus is an eBook titled "101 Healthy Homemade Dog Recipes."   I'm assuming the title says it all.

-The price ends up being $19.97.  If you're here on a mission strictly for potty training purposes, then this low price accompanied by everything you could ever need to know about house breaking could be for you.

Okay, so that about wraps it up.  I want to go over everything one last time and pick favorites.

This is actually a lot harder than I thought it would be.  They're all very good.  However, I think my favorite was...

Despite it's flaws, I really liked the amount of bonus material and the fact that they were videos.  I believe being able to see and hear what you are doing are very important to the learning process of the brain.  Combine that with being the cheapest of the full courses and it has my vote for #1

A very close second, I thought, was Kingdom of Pets.
It's a book...  But holy cow is it loaded with substance!  I just mentioned that I think reading isn't the best way to learn, but with the amount of information available to you, as well as having plenty of bonus material and other things of that nature, this product is definitely worthy of my #2

In third, I think it's only fair to put the Dog Potty Training in this position.
It's books as well as audio, and with a very fair price.  While I think you'd be better off getting something with more than just house breaking, I must admit that you will be getting a very detailed course.  In a ratio of substance versus price, I think this is worthy of this position.

In last, and only because there is another video course in #1 position, I rank Instant Dog Training Videos
I think this is a very good product, but more or less, I'm trying to weigh things on a scale of substance against price.  This is the most expensive of the products but it's lacking a single bonus.  If Dove Cresswell's video course hadn't been released, this course would be ranked much higher, but I think the question is, "Do you want video or eBook?"  Answering that question, you simply have to choose the best of the answer you choose...  And in my eyes, this is not the best video series.
