Welcome to The Dog Place! My name is Cody, I was raised in a little town by a family that adopted and adored many, many pets. I've learned quite a few things due to that. I believe that it helped shape me into the person I am today. My parents thought it was healthy for us kids to have pets around. They kept us mellow and down to earth. I ended up growing more attached to them than anyone else in the house. I became our personal groomer, trainer, and "pill giver." If you haven't ever tried to give your pet a pill, don't judge that title :)

Growing up, I was blessed with the presence of a Golden Lab, a Black Lab, a Dalmation, a Malamute, a Yorkie, 2 Shih Tzus, a Golden Retriever (who happens to be a lap dog), and a Beagle. Now that I'm getting my first house here soon, the girlfriend and I are trying to decide on what we should adopt. More or less, that's why this site is up. This site will be a collection of my findings on things that I think someone else would find useful.
